Yeah, I've started it. It's alright so far. Obviously not quite the same level of "wow" as his 2004 speech yet.

I love the food comms on LJ. It basically makes me hungry 24/7. =(

I really don't know what to make of the convention atm.

And now there's even McCain choosing his VP as Palin and just... ugh. Politics, pssh.

Yeah, it sorta seemed like standard Obama fare. I feel like I'm being a little unfair to McCain, since I've listened to, like, four Obama speeches and none of his. I should do that tonight.

And yeah, McCain/Palin does seem a bit...forced. Not that she's necessarily a bad choice, but it seems like a desperate attempt to go, "Hey look! I'm cool and trendy and young, too!"

Those chocolate thingies look so amazingly good and are so amazing simple. ARGH. Urge to go out and buy some peanut butter and Nutella: RISING. Why do I torture myself with food comms? D=
