I use Prismacolors. They're good quality markers, but aren't TOO expensive. There are other brands like Tria and Copic, and they work as well, if not better than the Prismas do, but they cost a good bit more. Prismas work for me, so I just stick with them. They do well on card stock.

I like Prismacolors but I wanted to know about the other brands out there simply for a taste of variety. Dickblick.com has Prismas rather cheap, too.

Prismas look good on card stock but you should see them on bristol board! Fabulous! :D

I noticed you said you found a Blick nearby. Prisma markers tend to be reasonably priced at the stores as well as online (plus you don't have to worry about shipping). I think the Blick near here has them for about $3 a piece. They also have a frequent buyer's program there.

I didn't really care for using Bristol. It soaks up a little more of the ink than I tend to like.

Small world ;)
You wouldn't happen to be the person who on Sunday night at the furpile was talking about what kind of yarn you could make out of my fur and the Ram's would you?

Sorry, dearie, but the furpile chick wasn't me. Sigh... *Wishes it could have been* Needs snuggles. :S

The fursuit is awesome. I voted for you in every round of the Fursuit Fracas.

I have a sheep in my comic strip. Wanted to have a goat but I just couldn't develop a personality for him. He was to be in the punk band but the goats I draw all look like they should be in a jazz quartet. (My brain is weird.)

There are some amazing fursuits out there... but the amount of fluff on yours is just fabulous! I think Sophie won last year. I saw her at AnthroCon and was blown away!

My comic strip is here: http://art-fumes.livejournal.com/ but I need to do the goat comic. :S The sheep is there, though. I love her. She is SO much fun to play with. She's a bit of a moron but in a nice, innocent kind of way. (IE: the truck farming strip where she has dug holes and put in Ford and Chevy pick-up trucks in the ground.)

The "Bleatnik" illo is FABOO! :D
