I hate when tv shows get yanked so soon...

Just read that they already gave The Beautiful Life the axe.  Maybe I'm alone here, but I liked the pilot and was looking forward to watching the encore of episode 2 tomorrow night.  I signed online earlier and saw the headline about a new show getting axed - they showed pictures of Melrose, Parks & Recreation and TBL and so I clicked the article ( Read more... )

It's such BS to put that much time and energy into a show and ten have it canceled after 1 or 2 eps. They used to give shows whole seasons to find their audience. So stupid.

Are you making any progress on the house? Is it getting more habitable?

One of my footy teams lost their Grand Final today and my favorite player EVER retired. It's rainy and icky and perfect weather to cry into my pillow. :( :( :(

I really don't get the idea of only showing 2 episodes, especially when everyone knows a pilot episode is rarely as good as the rest of the season ( ... )

It's one of the reasons I don't like to start new shows and get invested. Though I've picked up a couple this year.

That's awesome. I'm glad it's getting better. Will you be able to move in before November?

I cried. It was pretty pathetic. The worst day of my life was when I found out he's married. His kids are adorable, though. Why can't these guys play forever? Injuries be damned!

I always say I'm going to wait to watch new shows to make sure they don't get cancelled but then I don't listen to myself.

Dad seems to think so but I'm waiting before getting excited. I say by Nov. 1 I should be in there.

I sobbed like a baby the day I found out Jeff Beukeboom was married with kids, then sobbed again when he retired - I totally get it!

IKR! I actually heard good things about this show at TWoP, and if those bitches liked it . . .
It's CRAZY that they have cancelled a show already, after just TWO episodes. I haven't even had a chance to watch them yet, and I may as well not bother now. It's part of why I haven't watched any of the GLEE I've taped yet, because if I get real into it (as I think I would) and then they cancel it right away- Well, in case you hadn't noticed, I get psychotic over excited about my TV shows sometimes. LOLZ

I didn't tape the second episode, I was gonna tape it tonight but I don't think they reaired it. *pout*

OOOOO, you must watch Glee - it's my newest obsession, I'm in love with it!!! If they cancel that I may just lose my mind. I get a touch "over excited" about my tv too!
