Naww I really enjoyed this fic a lot because you really included how Arthur felt about his father into it really well! I also loved how Gwen was there for him and the little sexy stuff was great too=} I just loved how Arthur could tell that Merlin had come earlier but didn't want to interrupt. That was awesome ♥!

Thanks, bb!! Arthur's feelings on Uther are, I think, way too complicated to handle in a short-ish fic, but I'm glad it worked here! And I'm also glad the sexy stuff worked-- I've only ever done very vague, PG-13 hints or full-out NC-17 before. This was my first R-ish scene, and I wasn't too sure about it. :) So, yay!! :D

I loved this story, particularly this line as it made it all seem so final:

Arthur would never see his father again.

That was something I didn't think had entirely occurred to him before that, so I was going for that sense of finality. I'm glad to hear it worked, and that you enjoyed the story-- thanks!

This was a great story. You see Uther do so many bad things to people that you forget that Arthur would be hurt if his father did. Being that is the only parent and family member he has. The short interaction between Arthur and Merlin was cute.

Thank you. :) I think they've done a good job in-show of demonstrating how much Arthur's small family means to him, which helps humanize Uther, too. And I think Merlin's one of the very few people who understands it.
