This was lovely - I love that the darkness seems to make Marian bolder, and the backstory of the ring.

Thank you! I'm so glad the backstory seems to work; I've seen so many jokes and criticisms about the ring, and while I think it's pretty, lol, it does seem a little odd that Robin would keep something that would likely bring quite a bit of money for the poor without there being a reason for it. ;)
