Alas, I don't have my handy-dandy DL link yet, so I'm going to beg off on commenting until later tonight CST. If you want to watch along with me then, that would be awesome!
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! GO ARTHUR/GWEN!!! *SQUEEEEEEEEE*
*ahem* Right. I should confess that I've never seen an episode of Merlin, but I'm happy you're happy and therefore felt I should squee on your behalf. HUGS! ;D
Also, I totally understand the criticism thing. I try to avoid it as much as possible for the same reason. It can really, really bring you down. :(
Thanks for the squee! :DrailiseDecember 10 2011, 20:29:51 UTC
And of course, here's where I say YOU SHOULD TOTALLY WATCH MERLIN. XD
Exactly. The negativity from Merlin-dom alone has turned me off from doing more than squee about anything, really, although again that's with the caveat that I haven't been following fandoms for my other new shows lately due to time. So yay, squee time!

LOL! When is it on? I don't have a TV right now (my mom's TV is broken, so I loaned her mine,) but I'll be down at my aunt's babysitting tonight and she has five. LOL!
I've left fandoms due to constant negativity. The way I see it, fandom should be fun, as it's our escape from the stresses of everyday life. If it becomes negative and stressful, too, then what's the point, you know? Better to squee and just have fun with it, I think! :)

The new ep, 4x11, just ended a few minutes ago. :) I know Netflix streams the first three series and SyFy's going to be showing the fourth starting in January, if your aunt has either of those. (FIVE?! o.O)
It's not quite that bad, but there was enough that taking this break has helped a lot. Totally down with just squeeing and having fun!! ;)
P.S. Sorry-- the mouse jumped to the wrong icon there. :-/ My touchpad's been acting up lately... just like the rest of this Dell.
Yay, I'm definitely ready for happy Merlin thoughts! And I'm really excited about this ep. It's probably going to be a while until I see it (hours or so), but I love that AG are a big part, yay! Squee, lol!
YAY HAPPY MERLIN THOUGHTS!! :DrailiseDecember 10 2011, 20:39:49 UTC
If it's within the next seven/eight hours or so, I should be around for squeeing when you do get to watch. :D But no matter when, feel free to pop squee-ish thoughts here, if you'd like! :)

OMG, I loved this ep really. I loved that with all the talk around it, nothing or very little, resembled that talk. I felt like it was so long, like so much got told and I felt surprised throughout it, enjoyed. An ep personally I think to squee about!
Re: YAY HAPPY MERLIN THOUGHTS!! :DrailiseDecember 11 2011, 04:48:30 UTC
I hadn't seen anything about it, but I found that to be true of several eps earlier this series. There really was an excellent amount of story in this one! :)
So I have watched seasons 1-2 of Merlin, but really haven't kept up past that point, but I highly approve of squee fests for any and all fandoms. Sometimes all the analyzing and discussion just needs to be put aside and squeeing must be done. :D
I will say I think S3 and 4 are miles above S1-2 in awesomeness, although admittedly some of that is my A/G fangirl talking, lol. And yuuup, squee is necessary!! ;)
So I have not really a problem with the Merlin fandom, but I know how it is to take a break from the negativity that can accumulate on online communities - I feel that every time I decide to take a break from the cat forum.
Soo... poor Merlin trying to ruin that picnic lol. So funny how he talked to himself.
And good that Gwen now knows that Aggy is a traítor, too.
I wonder what Gaius was up to. He seemed to be thinking something was off.
I'm hanging off on commenting til I get to watch it again (the stream was cutting in and out a LOT), but OMG Merlin and the picnic!! XDDD All pouty by the tree, LOVED it :D
So funny how he talked to himself. YES!! :D :D His expression sort of reminded me of Robin in 1x01 when he and Much were in the forest at night, huddled around the fire. ;)
