Hear about THIS on CBC this morning.

Apparently the idea has been floating around the physics community since '94, and they're ready to start talking about it with world leaders.  The price tag is around $3 Billion dollars, and its going to be so damn big there are a limited number of places it can be built on this blue planet of ours.
