It was a fantastic moment! I was nearly crying! The funny thing is, I have never been *into* cricket until the World Cup started. After the match between India and Pakistan I was like wow, i never knew cricket could be so thrilling! Watching India win that world cup was so worth getting up early in the morning to watch on a crappy live stream :D What a fantastic moment. I wish I was in India celebrating on the streets, haha.
I always have followed India when they're playing in the world cup, but test cricket and everything else seems a bore though a few times I've gone to see them on the cricket ground when they come to England which is absolutley amazing and a whole other experience. I have an older brother and I assume that's why I'm into cricket!
