So; last night, in the middle of dreaming and waking up, I saw this sliver of a scene for just half a second. I don't get these much anymore, dreambursts or whatever, so I was excited enough to latch onto it immediately, which made the colours fade. This is irritating; colour was the central part of the thing. Two brilliant bronze points (distant, ( Read more... )

Indeed! Forgetting is the fabulousness.

I still haven't replied to your comment of woe. The last thing you need is someone else's angst on all of the crap you deal with daily.

I NEED ALCOHOL/ADORABLE PUPPIES.

I mean, we're getting there. Nothing can break us, though a few things get dangerously close. Like that ... KitKat bar ...

♥ Better things are a-comin'.

Yeah. WOE!

My life is woe-- No! *almost falls into the abyss*

Myes, myes, I have to go back for another semester. Guude? If I can pull myself together is time, and that's still a maybe.

You can tell me if I'm crazy, because... I need to know... If my life is crazy, or it's just me.

Myes, guude, guude.

Guhhuuuugh, I need to see that movie soon. Overall, I really need freedom, but that movie would get me there, I think, ha ha.

Also, yum dream bursts! I haven't gotten those in a while, but my dreams and reality seem to be overlapping... I remember having this convo with Pat yesterday and I can't remember whether it actually happened or not... >.> I worry for my sanity, hurray!

Second "also": I'ma download your stuff. So there. Whee. More luv.

HOYEAH, I saw it on opening night because I knew I'd come with excuses not to if I waited, and I so desperately needed that epic movie buzz to keep me going.

But yeah. Fear the historic inaccuracies. XD [ACTUALLY, YOU KNOW WHAT, LET'S GO SEE IT TOGETHER SOON PLZ. ♥]

Dreams are lovelove for me lately. The environments and people in them are so freaking weird, and I love eet. Shows me that my imagination can do better when I'm not running the show though. Oh sigh. XD

Gya, download. I luvu. ♥

MMMMM, Proactive is lyric-less. I always get way too caught up in lyrics or melody, it's the reason I cant listen to music when I'm working. However, this seems goodly. Cheers.

I haven't had dreambursts since I was little. Usually I just feel like I'm falling while I'm asleep and right before I hit the ground there's just white and I wake up. lD;;

So yes. Jealous! Because I remember that my five-year-old self rather enjoyed playing with a mental kaleidoscope.

Ah, man, those were the good old days! Lying around watching colours and characters wheel around in the dark. I still remember some of those sessions vividly and it's been years since.

There's got to be some way to induce them. Er, besides narcotics, jahahaha. I really want to devise a way, because I feel so inspired after really being aware of a dream.

Curse you, elusive subconscious.

Icons. Sweeeeet. And I haven't even seen 300 yet.

I want to, I really do, but...I'm worried that even the badass battle scenes won't be enough to counterbalance the historical inaccuracy and general bullshit (we are SPARTA and we're fighting for FREEDOM, never mind that our slave-to-citizen ration is HUGE). It's sort of a matter of my Greek pride versus my...um, Greek pride. O_o

Speaking of Greek pride, I am so stealing some of these icons. *ka-STEAL!*

Yeah, it hurt my historybone. D: Went and saw it on opening night, because I knew I'd talk myself out of it otherwise. I hate the comic; hate it, despite my nerdy love of Spartan lore. Movie was bearable, thanks to nice visuals and the fact that anything can become a joke when my brother's around. If he saw me start to bristle, he'd made a snide comment, thus saving the day. XD

I'd recommend giving it a chance eventually, but definitely take someone who can deal with, um, regular exercise of creative license. (It's Persia that'll really bother you; apparently the entire army was composed of hideous evolutionary impossibilities.) At one point, Leonidas asks his soldiers "what their profession is," and they reply with a unified battle cry. I waited for maybe twenty of them to add, "And, uh, we're perioikoi."

WAITED IN VAIN. D:

But, no, it's enjoyable if you're willing to be really lenient that way. XD

♥ STEAL THEM! STEAL AND MAKE THEM FEEL PRETTYYYYYYY!

Yes, I heard about that. *cringe*

Bwee, icons! I'm taking the one with the soldier cutting arrows off his shield, because that's pretty darn cool.

By the way, can I friend you on my other journal, worldinabox?
