Reply to this post and a) I will link you to a song that I associate with you, b) explain myself, c) beg for forgiveness?, d) cackle ominously and without apparent cause.

It might take me an unholy amount of time to make up my mind and reply and stuff, but that's not even news, THAT'S NOT EVEN NEWS.

cackling ominously, without apparent cause

Nyaaaaaah, so I think I could probably release a five-disc compliation featuring all the music I associate with you in some way. :'D

I'm settling on Forms of Imprisonment by Universal Hall Pass. There are a lot of songs floating around that'll suddenly bring you to mind with a certain phrase in the lyrics, or a certain quality to the music itself, but basically everything in this song makes me think of you. It's layered and clever and either very serious or very irreverent. And it's pleasantly eerie! AND I LIKE IT, nom.

......first instinct is to link the Successful Troll music, Rautaketju by Turmion Kätilöt. This..... is not a thing I can explain, therefore it doesn't count as your song. XD

YOU GET A FREEBIE B/C I ADORE YOU~

After much fluttering uncertainty, I've settled on Girl With Flower by B-Complex. For me, this is the theme for a forest-dwelling nymph who's kept up with the rapid growth of humanity and whips like a green vine through the cities at night! :x And therefore, it must be your theme.

..... and I have no self-control, I must link the other main contender. Forest Temple by Koji Kondo. I can't shake the feeling that this fits you better somehow, but the association is SO deeply rooted in the fact that this is obvious the music for a stage called the Forest Temple in the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I was totally overwhelmed by the game when I played it, so I'm not sure how much of the ~atmosphere~ is nostalgia/imagination on my part. But loasdjfhalkjafg just listening to it now reminds me of going into the temple and PHYSICALLY FEELING like the air around me was cool and damp. If nothing else, the headspace that this song creates for me definitely reminds me of you too~

The first one is interesting. I think I need to listen to it with my headphones in, because the speakers here at work are not great and I think I missed a few layers. I really like the second one, though. *___*

*purrs* The second one is deffffinitely more the type of music I'd expect you to choose for yourself, and I just. Can't keep it out of my heart, o my worrrrd~

I really wish I could directly communicate childhood experiences, is there an app for that yet?

Oh gosh, hi! *rolls around after you excitedly*

Destiny by Syntax came to me right away. I've always loved the atmosphere and scope of this song; it seems huge somehow, like some dark, tiered adventure that changes in every telling. Gives me visions of planetscapes and long paths, I dunno! Anyway, that depth and rolling presence reminds me of you. It suits your writing style, of course, and it also complements my perception of the way you think and operate. The song holds the potential for all kinds of grand narratives, same way you are the centre of many thoughts, plots and day-to-day concerns/interests/responsibilities/etc./etc.
