Well, on a good note, Dave has accepted a position with Honda Aircraft in Greensboro, NC. This is good because he has a lifelong love of aircraft (he wanted to be a navy pilot when he was younger, but his health problems kept him out.), and since Honda is such a big company, the benefits are better with less cost, he will be making more money than

I was wondering what you'd been up to. That's awesome about the new job, even if moving sucks no matter what imo. It's good he'll be doing something he loves AND making more money at the same time. One can only get so far 'sucking at baseball' (that's so cute =D)
