Perhaps, but this all seems more mischievous then anything. Like something a weaker demon might do for attention.

There are hardly any demons here, and those that are came here like the rest of us. If you don't include the ghosts natural to this place. Usually when people remove their chips, odd things happen do to unstable powers. Most odd occurrences are a result of that.
