I officially give up on YGO Zexal. It's just...so...ugh. It's badly written, the characters are super 1-D and cardboard, most of the designs are dumb too...the last ep I watched was just painful and it felt so scripted and the transitions were bad and and - I was afraid of that. I have not watched Zexal, and I do not plan to anytime soon :/
I ardently believe that it's not; human experience is subjective and there is no standard for artistic quality that isn't defined by humans - I agree with you. There is literally NOTHING in art that is objective. Everything is guided by experience, opinion, and so on. Now science on the other hand is a different story. That guy could have at least been more civil with you :/
I haven't watched MLP either yet. I still have to catch up on an episode or two before I watch the latest one.
I've been doing well, thank you for asking :) Things are getting busy as all get out, but I'm all right for the most part.
It's not that he wasn't civil, I just ardently agree with his opinion, and the fact that he was using this "objective quality" thing (something which really annoys me in general) to dis my favorite game...yeah. It's like, you don't have to play it buddy, but...I'll just say that he makes it hard for me to see past the "MTG players are elitist towards YGO players" stereotype. :/
