I would rather be alive and dragging my tail in the mud

So lalala things are stressful, but I'm dealing. I made some journal comics, I tried to gussy them up a bit in the photo-ship, but I think I made them worse looking:

I was going to say that I think you're awesome and amazing, but then I saw that you put the accent on the wrong letter in "naïve."

Sorry, you fail. No longer cool.

"I Monster" indeed! I really like the comics, especially the two with your own lettering (no one talks like computers! But then again, I guess no one talks like handwriting either). I love your expressions/postures/movements, like on the first and third panels of the second comic and third and fourth of the last one. Also the sun rocks. You should definitely have a bike-riding episode in your comic involving punching sun and culminating in http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v475/birdy281/PICT0061.jpg.

Don't tempt me. I'm like this close to abandoning the whole animation/illustration dream every day.

Aww, don't abandon the dream! Maybe just figure out how to do it somewhere you'd be happier?

I really really really like the first one. I think it's the cutest ever and would totally read more of those if it was a fo real comic.

The one in the video store I am not so much a fan of cause the shoulder pose that you are doing in the last frame reminds me of sally forth. :(

I like the last one a lot also, but not as much as the style of the first. It's like the first is so Bridget-y, and the others are like Bridget Doing Someone Else. But maybe I am totally wrong. You are talentpants either way.

I love you! :D

First, thank you, I love you too. Second, why is Sally Forth followed by a frowny face?! I love that family continually dressed like a Sears catalogue from the 80's! I think you need to give that little lady a second chance.

Also the first one I did much more quickly and infused with irritation.

ew I hate Sally Forth so much. I hate how it's drawn, I don't think it's funny.

It's like a bad drama project where the light tech fucks up and so at the end of a mediocre scene, someone makes a joke of some sort and then the lights are supposed to go down, but they don't for like 5 seconds too long, so everyone is left onstage trying to freeze in the too-thought-out positions they were in and the joke wasn't even funny, but everyone has to keep staring at each other because the lights are still on.
