Maybe you have a more reliable source than I do, but I couldn't find anything in there about restrictions of that sort for adults. You're not a minor anymore so I don't see why that restriction would apply to you.
Well, that's what I thought. But the DMV lady had so much ice in her eyes I dared not debate the finality of her placing a slightly uncentered sticker on my interim license.
