It was done by the same guy who did Repo! The Genetic Opera. (Which I haven't seen and have no opinion on.)

I wish more movie reviewers would title their reviews that way instead of listing all the ways that it was not a French independent film from the 60's.

Yup, that's usually my first clue that it will be anything but. then again, I don't like being told how I SHOULD react to a film, whether it's coming from reviewers or the creators themselves.

Oh damn it, now I'm going to mope all day because this never happened and it would have been awesome. (Or an interesting failure, but I'll take that over "dull mediocrity" any day.
