Geocities closing

You may have seen elsewhere that Geocities will be closing at some point this summer. An awful lot of historical BtVS fanfic is housed on Geocities sites, and in many cases, the authors have left the fandom. I gakked the list below from

I've actually been anxiously awaiting the closure, having had a dead site there for years that I couldn't update or take down, as I lost the password and the ISP where my e-mail address registered for the site hasn't existed in... well, more years than I care to say. It's scary to realize how long I've been posting essays. Eek!

Put into the Wayback Machine

I put all of Mintwitch's fic that was at Amare, Dare, Pardone into the Wayback Machine (it only had a couple scattered chapters), so hopefully the next crawl will get them.
