Buffy leans over the crib - it’s hard to tell the baby from the blanket. “Wow. She’s really… wrinkly.”

Clem beams. “Isn’t she? Her name’s Clementina. We’re going to call her Tina for short.”

“Compliments to the missus,” Spike says, tickling Clementina

Hahahahaa! So sweet. Y'know, I'm fairly sure I've had a similar reaction to at least a couple of unappealing babies in the past. Maybe they were Sharpesi demons!

My nephew bore a distinct resemblance to a squashed chimpanzee. Luckily he grew out of it. :D

My own little darling looked an awful lot like Winston Churchill, and it got back to me that, previous to her birth and based on predictions of her size, the midwives had been calling her Godzilla Baby. Once she was born and named? Godzelda.

She prettied up, though. ;)
