If you think that the bread machine is far enough away from the edge of the counter, move it back another couple of inches anyway. Otherwise, bad things will happen. Very bad things.

Bwah! This is like one of my regular notes to self...when you are fumbling around in the morning, peering into dimly lit cupboards and trying to find a clean coffeecup and cursing because you can't see anything, here's a tip:

The machine still operates, sort of, but the lid broke off, and while I can set it on top of the machine...somehow I feel this does not bode well.
