Chaos/Loki/Iris Merge

For those who haven't seen yet, the three iRO premium servers will be merging in around a month. The main restrictions are guilds all being deleted and god items being turned back into their component sets.

I don't even know what to think about that. I kind of hope they do give us some sub time to get things in order, because I'm really iffy about the idea of throwing all my characters onto one server and letting Gravity handle it.

Provided they don't screw it up royally, I think this will end up being a whole lot of fun. I just recently started playing again after a three or four year hiatus. I was a little shocked by the lack of merchants as well as lack of bots (yay!). Hopefully more people in one place will jump-start the economy. 300k for elu is kinda wtf.

Not likely. No one levels anywhere with a decent rate of elu drops, and I doubt that will change with a merge. :P In fact, with more competition for MVPs it wouldn't surprise me if elu prices jumped instead.

I renewed and played for a while when all my sakray guys got dumped onto Iris, and I had a lot of character organizing to do. I'm thinking about renewing now so I can get things into order for the server merger. I wouldn't have known about it if you hadn't posted, though. (Or I would have received the official iRO email announcement they are talking about way too late) Now, I'll have a chance to delete some guys from chaos/loki to make room for all my Iris (ex sakray) dudes!
