Personally, I'd just like a return of General Zod for all the arrogaunt supernatural goodness it could bring.

I'll settle for Zod. He's a great character.

But they've been trying to get a Superman movie off the ground since the late 90's. I'd rather see somebody else from Superman's Rogue's Gallery before the next twenty year wait.

Bizarro was originally going to be the super=powered villain in Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, but the producers didn't want to pay to license the character so they created an original baddie.

As for Superman Returns Again, I'm with you: Darkseid.
