I would not recommend Cal Arts. When cameron interviewed there we also went on a tour. Basically its run by the students. It does not seem like there is a whole bunch of support from teachers etc. They think that is great there, but after UCSC I think my tuition should go to paying the teachers for support and help. Plus Valencia is a shit hole, but that is another story. Good facilities though. You can talk to Cam more about it.

He loved Ohio University, that was where he really wanted to go. Only thing that stopped him: location (and me)

Oh and the lighting design facility at Cal arts = really f'in flakey.

yea I'm not sure how I feel about cal arts.
I'm not really into programs where I have to fight to get an education but the faculty there is big name and the contacts are gold so I figure I'll see about finding out more.

Ohio really does look like an amazing program the problem really is that its in the middle of nowhere and is tiny. Madison feel small to me and it has a pop of 220,000 and Athens has 21,000 super small. There would be no fun work for Ray.

So we will see how interviews and offers go.

I do need to pick Cameron's (your) brain about URTA.
I am curious wether I should present one production and show process or show a variety of work. any ideas?

Athens Ohio: jobs are exactly why I did not want to go there. I figured I would have to open another bar there. Not fun! Its really pretty there though
