A month or so ago I saw this fabulous duo called Vixy and Tony when they performed at the Ontario Filk con amd was just blown away by their talent. I've made a set of icons using some of their lyrics. Some are also lyrics from the first album that Michelle Dockrey (Vixy) worked on called Shadowbeast.

Please check out their website here where ( Read more... )

I like them a lot! I don't know those songs at all, but the use of picture make them perfectly intelligible, even without context.
Taking 3, 17 & 21, will credit if used. Thanks =D

Excellent, I'm glad you like the icons despite not knowing the music. All of the songs are up on Vixy and Tony's website, they're very much worth listening to when you have a moment :)

These are lovely. And I find it hard not to fall in love with Michelle Dockrey's voice.
Haven't taken any yet, but I'll credit if I do.

She and Tony left many a Toronto Browncoat enamored with them. It's a shame that their home base is so far away or we'd totally be taking a few road trips :)

I've been looking for a Firefly/family icon lately, so I'm snagging number 6. I will credit, of course. Thanks! :)

Well, what can I say? I was excited.

Yeah, we've seen a fair bit of them here in the PNW. Actually, her song "Girl That's Never Been" was my introduction to filk.

The Ontario Filk con I was at just a while ago was my introduction and it's fantastic! A bunch of the Toronto Browncoats went for the Bedlam Bards and were all just blown away by Vixy and Tony.
