Webcast Leads To Suicide?

I'm sorry that I'm terrible with write-ups, but I'm too incoherent for witticisms.

This is why I hate people.

bullying, sad and awful, homophobia

"If convicted, both could face up to five years in prison."
"If convicted, both could face up to five years in prison."

Not nearly e-fucking-nough.

Given that one of the Abu Ghraib ringleaders got 10 out of a possible 15, seems to be par for the course actually (and speaking as a hardcore fan of 24/Jack Bauer since Day 1 Episode 1, even if they'd given that douche the full 15 he still would've gotten off light in my opinion).

Because a great many people are fucking assholes.

I realize that sounds flippant, but to me it makes more sense than all the critical-studies elucidations in the world.

I know but I just... I deal with people like that a lot, and I could never imagine hating someone so much for something that effects them none. So what if someone is something you're not? What's the big deal? I used to have racist people bother me all the time, and I never understood what the fuck they were trying to prove? I mean really, what's the point in the end? And they all say they love God but then they only listen to the parts of the bible that suit them, not even the easy parts, you know. Judge not lest ye be judged, and that shit. idk.

The fact humanity often chooses to be so shitty is going to drive me insane one of these days.

I came here to post the same story, but with a more local link.

If anyone wants to flame me for stating that the roommate and the other defendant should be thrown off the George Washington Bridge, too, go right the fuck ahead. I could use a punching bag today.

Thanks.

BTW, I suppose reading news comments on a story like this is asking for trouble, but the NJ.com thread has a concern troll claiming that the perps "engaged in this act...out of curiosity," since they are Young And Naive™, and since "Gay sex isn't mainstream." So of course the straight kids would want to videotape it to "learn" from it!

Oh, and in re their being respectively Indian and Chinese, the troll claims "there are other, culture-based reasons for anti-gay behavior" (along with "Well, we have white homophobes, too!"). The fuck? If anyone's throwing around racist crap in the thread, that's obviously wrong, but so is the "It's their culture!" defense.

I am offended that you'd let those creeps land in water.

Bring them up to the same height over pavement. Then throw 'em off.

Dude, what happened to sitting down with your roommate and discussing how you feel about sex in the room? You then workout a situation that makes you both comfortable instead of posting "Yes, it's happening again." to your twitter.

I had a hallmate who told her roomie that the dude she was sleeping with was going to be coming over at x time, when roomie was in class. Roomie says ok. Roomie's class gets canceled. She sees sign that says, "Please knock first." And knocks and comes in at the same time. Roomie is offended at the sight of nekked people. This happens twice so she starts barricading hallmate out of the room so she can't get to her stuff.

It just pisses me off that people can't act like grownups, even for a little while. I don't blame the guy who jumped for being humiliated. I just wish he hadn't taken his own life. :(

I highly doubt that he was just offended because Tyler asked for the room for the night. I think every college student (including myself!) has been asked to stay away for a period of time, but this is more about something way beyond that.

Someone here in the comments posted a link to an article with pictures of his twitter. He says to tune into his chat at X time because Yes, It's happening again. That leads me to think that at least part of it (I'm not saying a major part.) is that he either had problems with his roommate having sex in the room at all, or just gay sex. So instead of being an adult, he decided to do the cruelest thing he could think of.
