Now, I think that there has to be something else behind this story. I can't think of a reason why a women of stable mind would get into a car with her rapist. There has to be some kind of backstory that explains it.

Like, oh just off the top of my head, a history of abuse? He threatened her or someone she loves? Or maybe getting in the car with him was safer than staying where she was?
