I...how could they even fool themselves into beleiveing that's humane? And who's going to pay for the medical bills or whatever if things go wrong? I'll be even sicker if they keep the resulting baby alive on machines =/

Who's going to pay for the funeral when the baby eventually dies (I'm not trying to be callous, but no baby born without a brain lives very long). The judge who is ordering this woman to go through with the pregnancy?

With all the fail of humanity I've seen the last two days, let's just blow up the human race now and get it over with.

Oh god, and just when I finally made myself forget about that. Words cannot describe how fucking sick and twisted it is that a 9-year-old rape victim is, apparently, perfectly suitable for excommunication.

Oh no, but the guy who caused the whole thing? No, he's good, he can still take communion and go to church and be let into heaven when he dies. But the little girl whose life he ruined? They basically said "no, in our eyes you're condemned to hell, you whore". Just. What. WHY.

Oh, I know the mother and doctors got excommunicated, and the stepfather didn't. But I thought the girl got excommunicated too. That she didn't makes it...a little better. But just a teeny bit :(
