I'm still pissed off about this. The next time someone tells me that I need to "get over" racism because it doesn't exist, I'm going to point this shit out. The next time someone goes "well, you shouldn't fear the police if you aren't doing something wrong", I'm yanking it out as well.

And damn anyone who claims that "he should not have run from the cops". I know I would run away from a group of plainclothes if they suddenly started to harass me out of nowhere, especially if I were fucking innocent.

And furtherfuckingmore, this just further proves that black people, regardless of what class they are in or their upbringing, have legitimate reasons to be wary of the police. Not all cops are bad, but there are too many instances of this madness for my instincts to default to "trust the police".
