Florida says, "Piss in a cup or no TANF for you!"

Last month checkpointme posted about a law in Florida that will require all recipients of welfare, WIC, and especially TANF to undergo mandatory drug testing to receive their benefits. At cost to already struggling applicant of course. Maybe to be reimbursed if/when they pass.

Well, Governor Rick Scott's gone and made it all nicely official like.

Hopefully this will be overturned like it was in Michigan. It seems that so many politicians simply think the Constitution is something that can just be ignored when they try to pass laws affecting those Americans who aren't overly wealthy. It's disgusting.

I'm sure the fact that the guv'nuh gets some kickback with all this drug testing doesn't have anything to do with this passing. Nope.
