I've had enough.

Dear World-

If I hear one more fucking time about what a racist Michael Richards is, I am going to start cursing

people out at random.

He IS NOT a racist.  Wrong? Yes. A racist?

NO!  How would YOU feel if someone came to YOUR place of work and heckled the fuck out of

you because of the way you do your job?  It wouldn't feel too good, and not only that ( Read more... )

Everyone can have a freak out from time to time. It seems insane to me that that one single word has so much power in our world. It may be the only profanity left. Jesse Jackson wants nobody to use it ever again. I think that just gives it more power.

I don't think he's any more of a racist than the hecklers who proceeded to call him racist names in retaliation. People just say offensive shit to people they're mad at.

I think it's sort of an overhyped story, and certainly less important than things like THIS that the news doesn't cover.

I agree with you on the Richards thing. Evan didn't see what the hoopla was about either.

Good call on Richards. Terrible things he said, but...when you're under pressure and you're dying on stage, people don't realise how hard it is, and how easy to just snap. He was probably just searching for a savage putdown, and went the wrong way.

And hecklers in general suck. They really do. It's really low behaviour.

See I don't feel like that... Couse if snoop dog would call bush a cracker and all this crap.. it'd be the say way.. ya know? So hey lets make a big deal out of it and lets see what happens to people that bring out their racisim in public. I think it's cool cuz people need to see what happens when they act like that in public. He's saying he's not a racis' but someone that isn't racis doesn't use those type of words.

he was NEVER my role model.

I feel badly for him.....I hope he can recover, but if he doesn't, then you know...it would be the way things play out i guess.

What I don't understand about the whole Michael Richards thing is that most comedy clubs have big bouncer-type guys that toss hecklers out of clubs... where the hell were they??

I don't agree with what he did, but I honestly feel bad for the guy. He made a LOT of public apologies, and now he's become the whipping boy... AND there's even talk of the "victims" wanting money now, too, which is ridiculous. That would be like me going into a bar, throwing a drink in the bartender's face, getting tossed bodily out into the street and then suing the bartender AND the owner of the bar for the bruises on my ass.

those men don't deserve SHIT! They are opportunistic fucks that are looking to get PAID--anytime you can retain Gloria Allred for your legal counsel just tells me further that you are just looking to expand your 15 minutes of fame...may the courts actually work for a change and NOT award any damages for being a bumblefuck!

BTW, happy 6 month anniversary to you and Rich! Mazeltov!

Thank you! :)

I hope you're right, but my faith in the legal system has been somewhat jaded recently. Where I hope that Richards' lawyer is smart about it and doesn't compromise, I have a pretty strong feeling that they will - just to put all of this behind them and let Richards move on. It sucks and it pisses me off, but when you're a celebrity, the rules are somehow different.
