Oh. Oh wow. You are a very gifted writer. That was wonderful. It felt so...vibrant, so engaging. It drew me in completely. I don't even have the words.

That was such a beautiful chapter. There's already so much closeness between the two of them. <3

A few really deep experiences are really putting them on the road. :)

Eeeee. ♥

Some highlights: Kirk consistently telling Spock to call him Jim and Spock responding with "Jim" (idk, that amused me a lot), "seesaw" (LOL oh Kirk), Spock awkwardly waiting outside for Jim to finish.

I love love love how the slash is just now beginning to show up (with the hand-touching and hair-smoothing), that you're taking it very slowly but making it really enjoyable for fans of the pairing on the way.

I had fun with the "Jim" thing too, because I think it would take him more than one try to make it stick lol. The slash is definitely slow, since this is a preslash story, but I want to bring it far enough along that at the end, we know where it's going... :)

This is so brilliant I'm having trouble finding words to describe it. I love the banter between the two! You have a fantastic grasp of their characters and their situation.

“I’ve heard that Vulcans experience the same emotions Humans do,” Jim found himself saying, remembering Spock’s counterpart in his mind, the overwhelming and unstoppable flood of what lay beneath his impassive surface. “If that’s true, then you must know that there’s no shame in feeling - only in making irrational decisions based on those feelings.” He ruefully acknowledged that he was sometimes quite guilty of doing that very thing.

He curled his hands gently around those lax fingers. “And there’s no shame in healing, either,” he pointed out.

What Kirk says here is just- gjlkfdhgk \o\ /o/ My favourite lines.

(I wish I could volunteer you to write the next STR movie. 8D)

wow. I have to say this is one of the best reboot stories i've read. The interaction between K and S is fantastic. This story is one of the main reasons i joined the community. I saw the movie 5 times (yes uber geek over here lol) and this actually feels like a natural extension of it! Congrats. and can not wait for the next chapter (btw that is a very large hint ;)....)

Wow, that's great! Not only did you give me a great compliment, but a natural extension is what I wanted this to feel like! :D I wanted this to be the story I could look back on and think, 'there - if K/S was canon in the movie, this is how I saw it going'. Thank you so much!
