Well, there's a reason I have a 'cosplay' tag for these things rather than a 'fashion' one... It is fun trying to figure out just what the hell is going on with them though, isn't it?

Ha ha, I love cosplay too and I agree about the contest thing. The way I see it, 'cosplay' is some sort of costume (be it original or a copy of something from a movie or whatever), as opposed to 'fashion' being something that maybe just maybe was designed for a person to wear as regular clothing. Clearly these were not. I did think the lace on the red outfit was really pretty, even though I'm sure I saw the whole thing in a Tim Burton movie or a Jhonen Vasquez comic once...
