I imagine this must be a similar feeling to when I get the rare occasion to sit down at an actual piano instead of a keyboard. Sometimes it feels great to go back to the non-computerized tools ; )

(though I think if I tried to write a story with a pen on paper it would be very, very slow moving. eek.)

it does feel pretty good to unplug. :D i can't wait to see where all my traditional sketches take me!

you play piano?!! *hearts in eyes* i always wanted to learn but i was too lazy to stick with it.

I started playing piano when I was five - lately I mostly play keyboard since we live in an apartment - more accurately- lately I play keyboard with my 2 year old daughter ; ) I haven't recorded anything new since I was seven months pregnant with her, lol.
(the vocals on that track are terrrrible - no diaphragm strength), but I still think it's a groovy song. Plus minimalist piano : Bedtime Story
my dear friend and musical cohort, Iseley, did what he could with post-production to make the wavering voice less obvious but...::shakes head:: someday I will redo them, I swear!

d'awww thanks! it feels nice to sit and sketch with real art materials every once in awhile. it's kind of sad but i had fun organizing and sharpening my vast collection of colour pencils before i sat down to draw this. XD

and hopefully i manage to doodle up some more of this character. i neglect her way too much.
