Yay, an update, I've been missing this story. I like the banter between Spike and Wesley. I hope Wes and Fred hook up soon, they were always so cute together. I'm with you on Angel Season 5, I hated what they did to Spike's character. Sleeping with Harmony right after he becomes corporeal? No thanks, I could have done without that. I love reading fictions that change it for the better. Can't wait for the Spuffy reunion=)

I really like the idea of Spike having friends and Wes and Fred are perfect.

Nice flash back to how the group actually dealt with their losses and mistakes unlike what Joss is doing with his continuations! This fits the changes we saw starting in s7. Xander as the good friend is a treat. I hated him at times on the show but he really did seem to be maturing by S7. Giles is another that had been a favorite but his (to me OOC) behavior made me nearly sick by the end of S7. This Giles is the one I would have expected.

SOOOOOOO glad to see this being updated. I know you will do a fabulous job on your own. YAY Guilty Soul is back!!!!"This is a story I think about every once in a while and hope for updates. Thank you so much for still loving this fic. Sorry I have so many issues when it comes to writing it. I hated Xander at times as well. It really annoyed me how the writers of the show turned him into such a bigot and never really addressed the issue. Also right there with you on the Giles thing. Giles of s6 and 7 never fit with Giles from teh rest of the show. If we went by the entire thing, Giles would have never left Buffy's side in s6 when she was ressurected, nor would he have believed that someone recently pulled from heaven needed to "take responsibility" as if just being back from such bliss wouldn't crush her.

They could have written Giles out in other ways that made sense as ASH was leaving. Simply having him feel guilty for Buffy's death and concern for her being resurrected might have spurred him to do further research in the Council archives to see about another prophecy for one....that would have been in character and explained his being missing in a tidy way. Lots of other ways besides completely changing his entire personality and making a beloved character into a horses arse!

Again....I know you have issues but DO LOVE YOUR story and glad to see it updated.

Giles actually acknowledged some of his mistakes! Wow!

[To me, Spike was brought over for Ats 5 but used as if he did not undergo any changes in BTVS season 6 and 7 to become a hero.]

Yay! Updates! I hate to admit it, but I love light Angel-bashing in my Spuffy fic. Wes and Fred as Spike's friends is always nice to see - Spike so often got a raw deal as the other souled vampire on the show. The full-on heart-to-heart between the core 4 post-Chosen is a wonderful image I wish Joss had done. Then maybe I'd recognize the characters in the comics.

The characters in teh comics make no sense to me, but then again Joss would not know what growing into a true warrior for the ppl is if it bit him in the butt. Sorry, but it's true about the man. I loved that the characters had flaws, it made them so much more RL, but for them to be real heros he should have also showed them learning from their mistakes and bigotry which he didn't!

Dawn had petulantly asked what was so important that she had to miss her first date with the latest Italian 'hottie' just to go to California ....she'd almost been mowed down by the hyperactive teen. Good to see Spike still has that effect *gg*
Love the fact that Buffy is coming to get Spike.
The banter between Spike and Wesley was fun.
As to Angel-bashing? I don't mind it, can be very entertaining :)
Hope you're well; I'm looking forward to more (and again, I'm patient).

Thank you so much dear! I'm so grateful ppl are still reading this fic even if I have horrible issues with it that make the updating almost non-existent. I'm so happy you like the update!
