i suck at history, but i've always been intrigued by WWII. this is very captivating, i'm super excited to read more!

This was really well written. I loved reading Kurt's journal because it was like watching him mature through those little snippets of thought he puts into writing. He sound so young yet he manages to sound like an old weary soul as well. :)

PS. You kept spelling soldier as 'solider' :)l

Thank you for reading! ^__^ Kurt's gradual aging as the war progresses was what i was going for.

Please don't put Rachel in a concentration camp. I'd rather not hear about her again then hear she is in such a place!

This is already heart-wrenching, and Kurt's place has yet to be bombed...

I will try to stay with the story but I had lots of relatives who perished in the pogroms in Russia (not the same as the Holocaust, but the feeling is just as strong) so if or when I have to bow out, I'm glad that this period has not been forgotten...
