We call them camel backs in the U.S. It is a backpack, with a special pocket for a big, soft, 2-liter water container. There is a tube from the container out a special hole in the back pack, and an elastic to hold it on the strap. That way, you can just lean your head down to drink, without having your hands occupied carrying water, and without having to put it in and out of the backpack!
