Oh, I know I'm being whiny. My main complaint is that I didn't know this before coming in; I'm quite capable of bundling myself up to compensate--if I know I'm going to need to.
It's okay, I don't think you're being whiny. To be fair, I whined about the lack of heating for all three years that I was in Japan - and no, I never did get used to it, even after three years!
My warehouse office lacks heat and is drafty as a thing that is very drafty. We've had a space heater cranking all day with a little fan behind it. It's barely becoming tolerable. Good luck to you.

2. To supplement, they have arrayed a handful of space heaters in the hallways.
3. It is 25 degrees Fahrenheit outside--12 with wind chill.
I hope you don't mind that I am quietly laughing, because these were my working conditions for three years in Japan.
