My favorite line was: "And Mycroft was smiling again, the same smile a person often smiled when they were thinking back to memories locked away with iron chains to keep them from escaping and dragons to keep them protected." To me, it read like poetry. I find the relationship between Sherlock and Mycroft extremely fascinating, and I think your rendition of it is just so well done.
Thanks for sharing. :)

I'm really glad you liked that line as I think it's also one of my favourites from this. And Sherlock and Mycroft, I agree, the relationship between them is truly fascinating and I really enjoyed exploring that relationship just that tiny bit.
Thanks again!!

But this is gorgeous. Cracky but not nonsensical. Heartwarming, not sickly sweet. And it makes some sly observations about the characters (of which I think my favourite is “I can’t decide whether you’ve always been this childish,” he said, watching as pale eyes turned to him, “or if this, whatever this is, is affecting more than your body.”)
Looking forward to your multi-chapter fics now.

I really enjoyed writing the combination of crack and fluff - with the image of child Sherlock in my head, it would have been impossible to avoid fluff. And I do just love the childish nature that Sherlock has at times in the show, brings a smile to my face whenever I think about him sulking or anything of the like.
Thank you again very much!!!
