Hah! I thought I was the only person who was irritated by this!

Given this society's increasing disdain for things like critical thought, I'm afraid it's only inevitable that other trappings of education share the same fate.

My new pet peeve is "good" versus "well"--NO ONE can do this right. TV shows, commercial writers, nobody. Grrr. One of them is an adverb, folks! USE THE DAMN ADVERB!
