How stunning, heartwarming, & poignant - especially the bit about Xenophilius teaching Luna about friendship. It's a very fascinating take on his character, which we don't get to see very much of in the books. And the padlock memory? Mmmf! Made me sniffle a bit. :) Excellent job.

Oh, wow! Thank you so much for a lovely, long and wonderfully written fic. I must admit I was a little turned off that it was epilogue compliant, but it's such a great fic that it won me over. It's painful and real and bittersweet and moving, and they are imperfect people with imperfect, complex relationships.

I think that the first person POV worked very well, particularly with the theme that what people say and what they do are sometimes at odds. I don't know if it's what you intended, but I saw some ambiguity here that I really liked. Just like Xenophilius' advice doesn't mean much next to the example he makes with his life, Harry's narration and observation of Luna and her insistence that she has no regrets aren't necessarily truthful.

Anyway, great job! I can't wait to know who you are ♥

Oh MAN! I got so sucked in...tried so hard to pay attention to the action and the dialogue and the themes and whatnot that I was totally punched in the gut with my tearful reaction to the end there!

You taught me what this heart - and you put your hand on your chest right above the spot where your heart beats - my heart, is capable of. You didn't break it. You taught me how to use it.

GOD! That was just amazingly poignant and beautiful! As was the rest.

Thank you for sharing!
