 The bad: my cel phone just slid out of my pocket and into the toilet, post-morning coffee exodus...

The good: somehow, it's still alive.

The ugly: must now find way to absolutely sterilize without undoing good luck and killing phone with cleansing solvents.

Try putting in un-lit gas oven, or in front of fan or low-setting heater for a while? Even open it up as much as you can...gotta get that moisture out. Rubbing alcohol and q-tips are good for cleaning electrical stuff, it evaporates right away.

I've saved some laptops that were being used as coffee trays in taxis but opening them up right away and letting them bake out all the liquid in the sun. Of course, the "right away" part is important and I haven't been checking blogs in weeks. Oops.
