This was orginally posted in my old journal ( link). It has been updated to include new material and reposted here for sanity's sake. This entry was posted on July 11th, 2006, and backdated to be the first post in this journal.
Anyway, the rules... please follow them, or I won't fill your request. Simple as that.
001 Do not ask for more than five songs at once. You can always come back for more if there are other songs that you want; just don't be ridiculous about it, please! I will not upload my entire playlist for you. Mutual friends, should they actually be in need, may request as many as they want.
002 Tell me the name of the album that the song you're requesting appears on. I'd rather not spend time sifting through nearly 300 songs in order to figure out which album a particular version of a song appears on.
003 Do not request anything off the studio albums (Greatest Lovesongs Vol. 666, Razorblade Romance, Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights, Love Metal, and Dark Light), unless you are requesting a song that does not appear on every version, such as Love's Requiem, The Cage, etc.
004 Pay attention to other requests! It's likely that someone else asked for a particular song before you. Please save me the trouble of uploading songs more than once by looking through the other comments before requesting. If the link has expired, feel free to request the song again.
005 Songs are in .MP3 format and will be uploaded to SendSpace. If you would like me to upload to a different server (such as MegaUpload), please say so in your comment. Videos, etc. will most likely be uploaded to MegaUpload, depending on size.
006 OF COURSE THERE'S A CATCH! I'd like anything and everything (songs, videos, making of's, interviews, etc.) that I'm missing, please! I can accept most files, and would really, really appreciate it. Last time around, I received essentially nothing in return; I realize that my list is huge and there's little I'm missing besides a few crappy live versions, but I'd like those few crappy live versions if you have them :)
