Basically, Nick rang the French finance minister and spoke sternly to him. The media is hailing this as diplomatic triumph. Strangely, no one has made a cunning linguist joke yet, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

and Nick's smackdown is, oddly, excellent proof in my twisted mind that CLAMERON LIVES. Obviously I drank too much at dinner. But I am not complaining.
