Oh, Wardo. It's cute but also kind of sad how he's all excited to come second to code. I wonder if he looks back at this moment in the end and is like, "I should have known this was going to end badly, Mark never loved me as much as his computer?"

Some fic recs!

Five Times Eduardo Didn't Know What He Was Doing (+1 Time He Still Didn't), which is...kind of a reconciliation fic, but not totally. I like how things are still uncertain at the end: Wardo is still angry, and maybe they can't even be friends again, but they're going to try. (I often feel like reconciliation fics make things too easy.)

old roads i go down. Amnesia fic! Mark gets amnesia! Which sounds silly but is actually surprisingly well done.

Aaaaaand for something completely different: The Markly Duckling, which is an adorable crack fic. Mark becomes a duckling! There are illustrations! It's very quick and cute and there is cuddling!

Yeah, I didn't think of this ficlet as in-canon while writing it. (Because it's too sad to do so?) But it does kind work really well in canon, doesn't it? Like, there's the "second to code" part and the "one day he’ll do something, something really stupid" line. Meh.
(I'll also admit a weakness for characterizations that include SUPER in love early Eduardo, just so that can be juxtaposed with an older, jaded Eduardo. I find that latter one really interesting!)

Thank you for the fic recs! (Including the wacky ducking one! WHAT. But I'm so excited for it anyway.) Well, I'm excited for all of them, really.

First of all, I haven't visited the community in forever and I'm just so glad this fic is here. But besides just existing, it's also a really, really wonderfully cute story. It was such a refreshing use of the "truth or dare" plot device. I hard ever see "truth" used, and in such a clever round-about way.

Yeah, I've gotten into this fandom SUPER late. (Upside: There are so many wonderful fics already out there for me to read!) But I'm glad people are still (occasionally) looking for new TSN fic! :D
