季節 【きせつ】 season.

Why is it that, here [日本→奈良→郡山], with the change of season, comes violent and extreme temperature shifts?Can't it just slowly and gently turn to fall, with colors of leaves turning from green, to yellow, to red, and then to a final brown. Later they slowly fall to the ground where they create a colorful serener picture only just ( Read more... )

What you described made me look backwards, to the before-time when the seasons were what one expected from them. The leaves had fallen to the ground by now and jumping around in the big heaps was wonderful. Then came the snow and in my mind it fell perfectly every year. Until now, the later days, when you start to become an adult everything just passed by and seizes to exist. Your text really made me miss fall, it seems so far away here at present. The seasons act just like people in the busy world of today, delaying their goals..

Well, here right now, the leaves are slowly turning all kinds of yellows, reds and oranges. There are even some brown. Just in view of my window, there's a small tree not far from the playground, that always falls to the Fall much earlier than any other. It's a small maple, whose star-shaped leaves are, right now, a fiery mix of red and orange, with only some yellow on the edges. Sometimes, when I'm outside, a leaf falls on me, and I feel sorry for it even as I admire the patchwork of them on the ground. Even as I run, kicking them up, and playing with them ( ... )
