Today I noticed a gigantic, unfixable hole had formed in an awkward and vital place on a favorite pair of pants, and so I decided to go shoppin' for a replacement. Whilst out, something caught my eye...
Hahaha GUHHH I HATE when shirts scream things like GIRL POWER etc. It's so ridiculous D:
I agree with your points. and it's too bad if you want good shirts you've gotta go to the little boys department...(haha I wear so many children's clothes from both girl's and boy's departments hurr)
geek chic makes me want to die, but also gives me more merch to buy, so I am torn. Though I would NEVER buy something like that ugh. But if you have a Kohl's near you, I got a sweet NEON FUCKING SHIRT with like, every marvel character ever's face on it, as well as a civil war jacket and this other sweet neon new avengers shirt. No grrl power, however. I DO agree on the desire for Rogue shirt, I mean COME ON. She doesn't even NEED the words girl power to exude it, they should be jumpin on her sassy ass for shirts!!!! (+one gambit, plz.)
(granted, most of the marvel stuff is in the men's aisle, and the only marvel female shirts I have never looked at, but my parents got me the sweet new avengers one that is white and UH SEE THROUGH so I have to layer to wear it. Ugh.)
The merch is fine and dandy, long as yer honest about it!
I...I don't know if we have a Kohl's in town. We might? Hooray for Marvel characters! I'm so psyched, because there now exists a Deadpool t-shirt! (One good thing that came of the Origins: Wolverine movie, I guess. XD) I've been looking for one for years, and now I can wear it on my body! (With...actually one of my least-favorite Deadpool illustrations. The cover to series IV, issue 4. But it's still Deadpool!)
UGH! YES! ROGUE SHIRT PLEASE. She's so full of sweet, Southern-fried sassafrass. <3 (+ Gambit <3)
You know, if it weren't for potentially crippling consequences surrounding copywrite infringement... I'd say we had a project on our hands! We will have a t-shirt series with all BAM! POW! KABOOM! female characters! Featuring a vintage Supergirl, and some lesser known, lesser acknowledged female capstones. And we have to do a Powergirl. (She's always been my favorite :3 (even before her boobs got GIGANTIC).) OH! And lesser known speedster, Jesse Quick.
Ohhhhhhhh if it weren't for those potentially crippling consequences surrounding copyright infringement, I would be all over that with you! I'd love a Black Canary shirt. Or Hawk Girl.
