Obviously, it was a monumental day. I tried to watch the Inauguration with Finn, but he turned off the television and demanded NPR. So, we listened to Obama's speech. He won't remember when he's 30 that he listened, but I will tell him that we did acknowledge the moment together. I was filled with so much hope and relief that I cried several

It was such a huge relief to know that President Bush is no longer in control; I admit I got teary when Obama took the oath. I feel like for the first time in 8 years I don't have to be ashamed of our country and I actually have hope for the future. It was really a moving moment at noon yesterday.
