The counter looks interesting. Is that cheaper than concrete? I would guess so since it says "looks like concrete". The prices didnt look over the top, but then I have never redone my counters so I dont know lol.
When it comes to the dog, I say go for it. She's not a puppy, so I think thats going to make it much easier all around. And GR's are SUCH great dogs. I think you would be very blessed to have her as a part of your lives :)
I read in your other post how much she costs and I have to say, that umm, swayed my opinion a bit. I guess its location or years, but last I owned a dog of that caliber he cost around 400. O_o.
We dont have a dog, we tried it with a puppy but it was around the time I was having an arthritis flair up and we had no idea what was wrong so we ended up placing her back in the shelter. :( It was practically impossible for me to keep up with her when I couldn't even keep up with Lydia. I know we will probably not ever do puppyhood again, but maybe when Lydia is older we'll get a full grown dog in need of a home :)

I so want the doggy, but I also think I need my sanity and am afraid of losing my balance. Do you have a dog?
