I've lost at least one friend for every month I've been stuck here. That's six, going on seven.

Can someone tell me what the hell is the point?

I've lost all but a handful of my original allies. My plans are shot to hell. I'm still not giving up.

…But why do they bring people here just to send them back?

It's not about looking back. It's about looking forward, y'know? Every day's a new gift and opportunity. Even without the important people you feel like you need beside you.

Looking forward to what? Meeting someone who could just end up a drone the next day? It's not like I'll ever see them again.

Every minute we have with a friend is a precious thing. Sometimes it's just a brief moment before they're gone, but that happens back home too. Try not t' let it get to ya.

They go home, right? I know it's sad, but they get to go back to their families and the town can't mess with them anymore...
