Ever since I found and bought a used copy of The Neverending Story by Michael Ende, I've been seriously fighting the urge to stop reading The Satanic Verses and plunge straight into Fantastica (in the book, it's Fantastica. I never read the Neverending Story, but I loved the movies when I was a kid! :)

Don't know about not finishing the other book (which I also don't know^^), but I read books simultaneously all the time, sometimes one of the books then lies around for a while because I'm more into the other one, but sooner or later I get to it... or just leave the bookmark in an finish it sometime in the future when you feel like it...

I highly recommend the book! It's amazing. :)

Yeah, I'm thinking of leaving the bookmark in the one in case I'm inspired to finish it someday. I just feel kind of bad for not completing a task. Hahaha. My mind craves fantasy!
