Growing over the door, growing up through the walls~

Phwoar. It's been an actual age since I wrote anything even remotely 'journal-esque' on here, so I think that ought to rectified just about now.

Things have been hectic. Exams. For those of you not in the UK, GCSE exams are a) what get you into college, and b) mercilessly spread over a period of five weeks. In my case, study leave means I'm at ( Read more... )

Oh, I so wish I could join a gym... I already use the exercise bike at home obsessively (seriously, I can't go to sleep without having cycled at least 15km before hand), and I'm totally contemplating buying myself a cross trainer (the only issue I have is that there is not enough room in my room to put it ( ... )

You, dear madame, are ridiculous. Haha. Fifteen KM? How long does that take you? I think I would be more inspired to do it if I had one at home - I could watch TV or something at the same time. But with the gym there is always the imminent kerfuffle of getting down there.

Thanks <3 Haha. I'd probably try to get A*s even if they didn't exist, because I am ridiculous like that. Haha.

Shall do! -salute-

I know - it is a tad ocd. It used to be 10km, but I upped it to 15 because I like to make things hard for myself. It takes me about 35 minutesish if I have an average speed of 28km/h on middle tension. If I'm trying really hard then I can get it to 28 minutes. I normally read whilst doing it - I've been mastering the art of balancing my physics/chemistry textbook on the display unit recently so I can revise whilst I cycle (y). I also like watching tv whilst cycling - the only problem is I tend to (unintentionally) stop cycling when it gets to the exciting bits haha.

I know what you mean - I've been setting myself the target of 95% on all my exams, even though you only need 90% to get an A* or Cambridge entry. And I know I shall probably be distraught if I don't achieve it. I may need some serious lupine therapy on results day (repeated listening of Hard Times, Tristan, Accident & Emergency and The Magic Position).
